2YR FURTHER EDUCATION 16yrs to 18yrs
Across The PAD’s 2-year course, Level 3 students will see advancement of their talent and skills, while achieving a nationally recognised BTEC Level 3 Extended National Diploma qualification, and achieving up to 168 ucas points to support their path into higher education. Our courses have been developed to emulate and prepare students for the next level of training, whilst providing guidance and support on personal development and managing themselves professionally. Each student will receive a high level of tuition from industry professionals in a wide range of performing arts subjects, preparing them for the important next step.
3YR HIGHER EDUCATION 18yrs +
Higher Education at The PAD offers exciting technical and artistic training encompassing the full breadth of Performing Arts. Professional industry mentors work with students on a weekly basis to gain in-depth, current industry knowledge. Students are nurtured to become creative, highly disciplined and adaptable performers. Graduating students will have full exposure to the industry as young collaborative individuals equipped with resilience and integrity. Students at The PAD thrive in an environment where the cohort is small, but the contact hours are high. We get to know every student, developing their strengths and helping them to uncover who they could be as a unique, professional performer.

outstanding talent in performing arts.
The PAD creates and delivers an environment for future Performing Arts professionals to explore, develop and understand what the industry needs you to be.
The PAD now offers a combined Open & Audition Day to every potential student.
The day will give you a great insight into a day in the life of The PAD, but allow you to audition all in one visit. Every Open Day commences with a short presentation and performances from current students, you will then participate in workshop classes, working with our industry professional tutors and learning techniques you can take away with you. During your visit, you can shadow and be supported by our current students; ask them questions and understand what life is like at the PAD.
Our open days are held at out 10,000 sqm purpose-built studios in the centre in Dunstable, next door to our associates, The Grove Theatre.

Adenike graduated The PAD and continued to degree level at Urdang. Since completing her training she has been cast in Macbeth in Chiswick Play House Theatre, successfully audition for the Jamie Lloyd Company and performed in their production of Romeo & Juliet at The Ambassador Theatre on London's West End.

Graduating The PAD in the summer of 2024, Daniel not only secured places at multiple performing arts universities but also successfully achieved his first professional contract with Royal Caribbean, which he is currently fulfilling.

Evie graduated The PAD back in 2020 and continued her training to degree level at Wilkes Academy. From there she was offered a professional contract with Disneyland Paris and has been performing with Disney ever since!
My daughter gained so much confidence during her time at The PAD. Her singing, dancing and acting greatly improved and she really enjoyed it.
The class environment at The PAD is so supportive and the teachers want the best for you. I learnt that taking risks makes you improve more.
