The PAD is a performing arts training institute located in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, providing full-time training for post-16s in both Further & Higher Education.
With a reputation for technique and creating artists, we aim to support and develop your raw talent, helping you achieve your full artistic and academic potential. We lead with passion and experience to inspire young people, with outstanding talent and industry-professional specialists deliver the highest level of training across vocational & qualification lessons.
The PAD was founded by the founders of AcroPAD and is affiliated with The Bedford College Group.

OUR FAMILY
In 2010 Daniel launched On Pointe Dance Academy (evening school) in Dunstable as a hip hop focused school aiming to offer the highest level of tuition in the local area. In 2012 Amanda became principal and OPDA transitioned to a fully fledged Performing Arts school, now offering over 50 classes per week and 240+ students weekly.
In 2017 Amanda and Daniel saw how Acro was fast becoming an integral part of the performing art and developed/launched AcroPAD.
AcroPAD is the market leading brand within the UK dance/performing arts world with over 180 AcroPAD centres in the UK. Through AcroPAD we are lucky to call some of the UK’s best 6th forms, colleges and universities our customers. Additionally we travel the UK teaching specialist workshops within these centres and work with some of the most gifted stuents, teachers and choreographers in the U.K.
The PAD is situated in the heart of Dunstable, Bedfordshire, 10 minutes from M1 Junction 11. Although Dunstable is a small town, we have great access to both motorways and train links into London. We are 12 mins from Luton train station and great parking for students that drive.
The PAD provides a 10,000 sqm purpose-built, fully equipped facility to ensure all practical tuition is taught in a professional space.
