RESPONSIBILITIES
As Head of Acting, Oliver manages and develops the Acting With Singing Track on the Level 3 Course and oversees and develops the Acting training across all the Further Education and Higher Education Courses at The PAD. Oliver provides practical acting lessons to all students and his wealth of knowledge & professional experience in both stage and on screen acting, enables him to train students in a variety of acting skills including acting for camera, theatre craft, supporting them with audition monologues and self-tape preparation.
PERFORMANCE CREDITS & CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Born and bred in Yorkshire Oliver moved down to London at the age of 19 to train as a professional actor at Rose Bruford College having previously been with The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. After three years at drama school he began working immediately moving from West End Musicals and Plays (Original cast of ‘Our House’, ‘Les Miserables’ and ‘She Stoops to Conquer’ at The National Theatre) to Television (Emmerdale, The Bill, Dalziel & Pascoe, Law & Order, He Kills Coppers, 2:4 Children, Doctors, Casualty and Murderland). Most recently Oli played the part of Ned Schneebly in the UK Premiere of School of Rock at The New London Theatre. Immediately before this he appeared in Mrs Henderson Presents at The Noel Coward.
On film he has starred opposite Dervla Kirwan and Charlotte Riley in the British horror hit ENTITY and can also be seen in REDIRECTED alongside Vinnie Jones. Further film credits include Les Miserables, Matilda, See How They Run, Unlawful Killing, Level Up and Hit.
